Even through the severe mono compression of YouTube (and a modest vinyl rig), somehow, I think the sonic difference is audible. The top video was from vinyl, the bottom video was (most likely) from a digital recording.

The "digital" clip was recorded somewhat louder (the "vinyl" clip was actually recorded at a lower-than-ideal level), so you'll need to adjust for volume. The difference I think is most-noticeable during the 1:58-2:25 portion of the "vinyl" clip, or 1:53-2:20 of the "digital" clip.
