Well I agree with you but I am not going to try and ram it down the CD player owner's throat. After listening to the Voyd Reference AN TT3 it's the best source I've heard. And it's not even the company's best.

So I suppose it's an issue as an argumentative talking point but likely you are arguing with someone who has never heard the better decks - maybe they heard a Linn but really they're outclassed by better rigs as well. Or you're arguing with "the measurements say this" crowd. You'll never convince them so what's the point. It's like convincing a Bush supporter to use their brain or a religious person that there might, just might, not be a God. Won't happen so don't bother.
