There were no blind tests

The 'everything sounds different golden ear' crowd thinks a "blind test" is when you hide the brand names with masking tape and then just say anything you feel like saying about the components! To them that's proof of something!

Positive blind tests are my primary source of objective evidence of what sounds different (other than speakers).

I'm not interested in boombox tests done by a company selling wire, and using two different boom boxes that will not measure the same
(I'd bet the Boombox brand/model choosen had unusually thin/long speaker wires, and the boombox sample with the highest output amps was used for the Monster Cable "upgrade").

Nor am I interested in "even my Mom could hear the difference in the next room while doing dishes" as a test methodology.

Blind tests have revealed audible differences in all genres of electronic audio components, but so far not for wires. But it's common that test participants will "hear differences" in a volume-matched sighted warm-up audition ... that mysteriously disappear minutes later when the methodology is switched to double-blind. I think that tells us something about audiophile behavior that's even more important than the test results data -- a human bias toward imagining A-B differences.

Yes, I do find fault with someone who thinks boombox tests mean something to audiophiles ... and I find fault with 'even my Mom could hear a difference from the next room while doing dishes' as meaningful test methodology for audiophiles to learn more about the hobby.
