For source I used 7 1/2 IPS Reel to Reel tapes, and I can tell you Monster vibrated the walls, lamp cord no matter how loud could not. You could have heard it for yourself, unless you are deaf.
Not only that when I went from original Monster cable to Monster Powerline II Plus I had another jump not only in deep bass response, but also in Midrange purity and the most impact and bit in the highest frequencies. Also Powerline II Plus has a deeper wider image than Monster original.
Don't trust your silly measurements, listen with your ears. Oh, my god. How is a meter going to register things that cannot even be measured because we have not discovered how to yet? Music is so much more than SPL. In 1,000 years we may be able to measure all the parameters of music, my guess is we would be looking at over 100 different measurements to tell us what our ears can tell us right now.
You are only quoting tests with agendas, there have been hundreds of tests proving differences between not only cables, components but source/DSD/PCM, etc. You seem to be blind to all of these.
No it is you who will be keeping people from getting the maximum enjoyment from their music in their price range. It is all about compromises. I would not like to live in your would where everything sounds the same and is mediocre.
I no longer believe you are a "bass nut" as if you were you would know how important excellent speaker cables are. You've been outed.
