If you can really hear a difference, personal preference is the right word, not "bias"

I can challenge any audiophile to prove he can hear a difference between two wires.

If he CAN prove he hears differences, then he is entitled to his opinion on which wire sounds best to him.

The only reason for another blind test would be to reduce the possibility that positive test results in the first test were just lucky guessing.

If an audiophilee wants to choose a wire based ONLY on sound quality, a blind comparison using A-B volume matching could remove some potential biases compared with a sighted audition.

I know the above hypothetical situation is hard to believe, since no audiophile has ever been able to demonstrate that he can hear non-SPL wire differences to witnesses, but then some day a miracle could happen.
