In Reply to: FTI the Monster cable had more bass at low, medium and high levels, at any level, do you understand? posted by Teresa on June 7, 2008 at 16:35:13:
Now speaking about those so-called "tests":
You appear to know nothing about how the "tests" were done and/or fixed to help Monster sell wires, nor do you have any explanation of why a test with $200 boomboxes would have any relevance to what could be audible with audiophile home stereo systems.
Boomboxes have built in speakers and don't ordinarily get speaker wire "upgrades" by their owners because the speaker wires are so short.
Two samples of boomboxes will have measureable differences that could be audible WITH NO CHANGE TO ANY INTERNAL WIRES.
If you want to test wires, then no other components in the system can be changed -- that's called science Ms. Teresa, a subject you must have slept through in high school (I slept through math). Your explanation makes it appear there were two different boom boxes used for the so-called "tests".
