"My dealer claims to have done such tests years ago and everyone chose vinyl". I am impressed! My dealer stopped selling turntables for decades and has started again when demand prompted him. I guess it was out of love of music. I kept my turntable alongside the various CD players I have had over the years and moved up to a Rega P-9 a good number of years ago when he didn't have a turntable in the store. I bought an SACD player also when they came out. Each medium has its own qualities. The only shortcoming of SACD is the limited software available. On good recordings I think it tops the other two formats.

I simply don't believe anything a dealer has to say.
