Teresa that was just a joke no need for a serious reply

"A date is gone once you say goodnight"

Not always.

Well, we may agree on (only) one thing: I agree the appearance of speakers is important. I sit only four feet from my speakers in a near field position, and even with my eyeglasses off, I don't like having a big enclosure so close to me. I can live with a one cubic foot enclosure on a stand for now but hope that some day I can buy speakers half that size that sound as good. My ultimate goal is someday finding great sounding satellite speakers that use only one driver, with no crossover, are no larger than 6" by 6" by 6", and are mounted on stands on either side of my seat so there are no speaker boxes in front of me. And when I play classical music, I will hire an old biddy to sit in front of me and eat her homemade snacks from a noisy cellophane bag, just like the last time I went to a real symphony.
