I acquired one of these beast receivers - it sounds pretty decent for it's age but all of the lamps are out. I took a look and it appears the ones that light the tuning dial area are lamps with wiring .......

Kind of a strange way to store golf clubs but what do I know. I do think he likes silver faced gear with a lot of push buttons, save the Scott. Probably takes him 20 minutes to find which mute or tape .......

The 2+2's and 1+1's are just superb speakers and I have owned several of each. For a regular home with 8' ceilings, they are just too tall for me. But, the 2+2's made me realize I prefer the sound of .......

Holly, The Kenwood 5020 is amazing but are not cheap these days. The Sanyo Plus tuners are very nice also. I would recommend the Sony ST J 75. You can find them for around $100. It looks older and the .......

Try posting about your amp/57 combo on Planar. I had an older ARc amp and it didn't sound so good with my Quad 57's. There is some synergy that has to happen with the 57's and amps. Some good vintage .......
