Let me say up front I am no fan of Carver gear. The several pieces of Carver I have had through here have done nothing for me.
I bought a TFM 35 amplifier off CL yesterday for $100 - it is in very good condition. I tried it out last night and it works but sounds kind of rough. I wonder if that is just the way it sounds or could some caps need replacing. Anyone know if replacing caps in this amp is worth it to increase the sound quality or not or is cap replacement difficult?
Thanks.
