Innersound Eros - crackling at high volumes

I have a pair of Innersound Eros with the upgraded panels. Recently, I have experienced a crackling on both speakers at higher volumes. I am ar my wits end and have tried different interconnects, confirmed electronics are not the problem, etc.
Roger Sanders sent me a nice email with possible culprits - no luck with these.
I think it could be the DBX crossover.

Any thoughts?
