Hey Jason,Thank you for the contact info.
I was aware of these guys but thought it would be a lot of trouble to order from the UK. I may give it a shot if my pulley doesn't work out.As soon as I walked in his shop he looked at my hand and said ahh turntable pulley...is it running too fast? I guess I am not the first! He then went on to explain about the guy who's house he went to that had all these old tubes and LP's who also needed his pulley machined...
If you get a chance....can you please, please, please measure your pulley's 33, 45 and 78 step and tell me the diameter on both the -2 and standard? It would be awesome to have a reference.
When I dropped the pulley off today he felt that there was not enough meat on the 33 step to really remove anymore. It measured only 9 thousandths of an inch thick (wall diameter) so he will try removing 5 thousandths.
