The Music Machine. The Barbarians... pretty bi-coastal!!I'm not as ambitious as you are. Just a few discs on the lineup. Still-Young band is pretty mellow for a California winter day.
Also listening to Grover Washington "Soul Box" 2-LP set [kUDU KSQX-1213, 1973] which is quite fantastic- it came along with the odd bin of Quadraphonic LP's I found stashed. It's appropriate for the lively CTi in-yer'-face sound (made loud to be played loud) Nevertheless, some beautifully made LPs. Can't lose with that band- Ron Carter at his peak and some fine work from Eric Gale on guitar.
Dandoe Shaft is up next- folkies after such solid smooth jazz-- don't let me fall down the Fairport Convention / Steeleye Span rabbit hole!
