Yup, tried different headshells, clips, the usual, and the cartridge is perfectly quite in another system. Going to chalk this up to one of those Bizzarre ground issues, I'll just keep using the cheat .......

Why would a nagaoka mp500 cause a hum in the right channel that I can get rid off if I use a cheater plug, and in exact same setup, use a Nagaoka mp110 that's perfectly quite without cheater plug? Mak .......

I recommend 2 DWM Bass panels, They bring the 3.7i's close to the same level as the 20.7. .......

Hi Mendel, sure, enjoy both for different reasons, 802D`s have the tight dynamics and pounding bass, great with HT and Rock. Maggies have the enormous soundstage, depth, mid-range sweetness. The bigge .......

Room is 15 by 22, Maggies are approx 72 inches from front wall and 18 inches from side. Tweeters out. .......

No bypass, both the 2 channel and HT systems are separated using a high quality Balanced switcher. I do listen to multichannel music thru the HT processor on occasion, but much prefer 2 channel. I kee .......

Magnepan`s are awesome for HT, but I mainly use the B&W's for movies, as they are system matched with the HT processor, etc....I just added the 3.7i`s and DWM`s, earlier this year specifically for 2 C .......

B&W 802D's are part of the integrated 7.1 Home Theater system, and are covered with fabric panels when listening to Maggie's, with 2 channel system. .......

I`ve never had the MMG`s, so I wouldn`t know. The connections on the .7i`s seem very solid, and similar to the same materials used in the 1.7`s and 3.7`s. .......

Yes, silver side rails with the basic feet. I didn't care for the upgraded base. The soundstage these .7's give off is nothing short of spectacular,. Images have a spooky holographic soundstage. ::: T .......

The Processor/Input loop of the Audio Research Tube pre-amp is connected between Krell and Magnepan 3.6. Source material from cd player and phono stage is directly connected to Audio Research. The LS- .......
