RE: Very nice.

Hi Mendel, sure, enjoy both for different reasons, 802D`s have the tight dynamics and pounding bass, great with HT and Rock. Maggies have the enormous soundstage, depth, mid-range sweetness. The biggest difference for me is that the Maggies sound like musical instruments are playing in the room, especially with a good recording, string instruments, voice, drum wacks sound real, in the room....The 802D`s, sound more like a speaker trying to sound like real instruments....It`s really only something a Magnepan owner truely understands, regardless of which model you have. I also had the new .7`s in the room to audition and they are absolutely amazing, regardless of price.
