I, and I believe many here sympathise with your efforts to contact Jim McShane, but I'm beginning to question your motives for repeating public announcements that Jim McShane should repair his email- which is working for everyone else who tries it.

You have been been given multiple suggestions and alternatives to contact this business- Mr. McShane has been friendly and accessible, yet again this is going through a public forum.

As you- and apparently you alone- are having difficulties with both direct and Asylum email, logic suggests the problem is probably on your end. As you have the computer skills to post here and the time to post repeatedly, why not instead use those skills and time to ring up technical support for your Internet/email -provider and software-and see if there's a spam filter setting or something blocking progress. Perhaps if you add Jim McShane's to your email address book, the spam filter won't treat it as a threat.

Of course it's best to resolve an email problem regardless, or, as has already been suggested, you might simply phone Jim McShane. If you are in a place where you drive on the left and many times zones different might you FAX directly from your computer?

Otherwise, I would conclude that you are either a business rival of Mr. McShane or an insane disgruntled loner. And, if you're in the disgruntled loner category with the rest of us here- let's see some imagination. Here's a suggestion:, "No one- not one person of any size, colour, or creed has yet been able to absolutely prove that using Sovtek tubes doesn't cause less than two times over 27% of people without an income under $118,770 to want more Communism or less than 1 in 6 of Socialism." Or, "People who believe audio cables sound different have been shown to be wearing UNDERWEAR on average TWO POINT FOUR SIZES TOO SMALL and are ELEVEN TIMES more likely to have a female relative with hair in her ears."

I have my own email problems and would prefer and enjoy this forum devoted to interest in tube gear to contain more directly audio- related information: Allen Wright as to why we should automatically despise and dismiss all other audio products other than ([araphrasing] "mine, mine, mine, and don'taskanyquestionsyourenotqualified", "Sarah Palin says that tube damping rings of Moose hair not only improve the bass, they add a delightful, outdoorsy aroma to any listening room. And, "Jesus told Glenn Beck that Allen Wright speaks the same language as Satan's tube technician and he says that tubes left on all the time last longer."

Don't commit yourself to an asylum and only be dull and helpless- let's see some proper insanity!
