You're right, I missed your point and reacted to the other posters in the thread.

Again, I didn't delete the Roe thread. If a new topic is obviously political, I do delete them. Then, you have a tweeners like Ukraine or inflation that can be news worthy without being necessarily political. Often, it just doesn't work and when it gets into orange man bad or Biden is an idiot, then I tend to delete those back and forth posts and hope to see something useful left in the thread. From what I saw of the Roe thread, it was quickly going into little more than flame wars with few or any discussing the merits of the issue.

You're right on another point, I am not a Democrat and am also not a Republican.

I really don't know how to best deal with the political posts. Recently, I'd warned Carl G and closed what I saw as a political troll and folks seemed to be good boys and girls for a few days. Then, it blows up again.
