Well, I live in Northern VA and have Verizon DSL service. My dad lives 15 minutes away from me and uses COMCAST CABLE-modem service. He constantly has trouble with slow d/l speeds (at the "rush hours" after work). My DSL rarely goes out, is about 25% cheaper, and even though it isnt as fast as Cable CAN be, that's okay. How much porn do you really need anyways?!FYI, Pops has had trouble w/ slowdowns for quite some time now...it isnt a new occurrence here in NOVA.
