tunenut,I had hoped my post addressed this issue. What offends me is the stupidity, time-wasting and this completely unnecessary lexinconagraphical violence.
It is my sincere and I believe reasoned contention that this is fuckin AUDIO Asylum and not "The American Idle: Angry Polotico Pundit Playpen". Doesn't the title of the site suggest something to you? There is no real information, only discount armchair paralytic views and teenage invective, the monkeys flinging their feces at the Liberals and the snotty limousine Liberals endlessly trying to explain that the word "moron" is one of respect and affection- after all Conservatives are only deluded victims of the corporations voting against their own interests.
You may have read in the newspaper that Liberals have tremendous stored up anger thanks to the disastrous Bush years in which nothing happened that had benefit other than to the giant corporations and industries that funded the Republicans. Conservatives are angry because: 1. They don't own and control everything,2. Obama is an uppity nigger- but they're not allowed to say so- they're such pussies they have to say "Secret Muslim", "Socialist",and "Born in Kenya" -even under the protection of anonymous monikers, and 3. The carefree criminal years of the super-rich carrying the cash off in train-loads is reduced to carrying it in convoys of large trucks.
Why have a high blood pressure site full of intransigent fuckers- on both sides, but I'm convinced is far stronger on the Right. That's the problem with religious cults like political parties- no new information is allowed to enter the system other than the pre-approved. Changing the outcome is forbidden- and the cult leader tells you to ignore or kill whoever objects to your policies or infringes on your God-given rights to just all the money or save our habitat or help the poor. Liberals at least understand that when all the tax money goes to the Conservatives' friends: a few private hands, the banks, insurance, oil, and pharmaceutical companies, and the Halliburtons and defense contractors, instead of education, health care, and culture, the morale will wither and the culture will die. In my view, Water Cooler and Outside are only too-painful reminders of this withering and dying all around us- why can't there be a site- a fuckin audio site for Christsakes- without this cheap gin politics?
If you actually enjoy either of these sites, you're a fuckin bonkers masochist. I'm a fuckin bonkers masochist- lived in Los Angles thirty years- and this place is more like waterboarding- but using piss instead of water. Get my drift of my gist?
Regardless of race, creed, or colour, everyone is making perpetual repetition of the same issue. No one on Water Cooler or Outside ever had their mind changing one dot. Certainly, I could never respect anyone whose mind had been changed here on political topics- you have to admit the standards of discourse and factuality are at extremely low levels. There are rectums in this neighbourhood so tightly trained that no new light is ever allowed to enter. These poor sods are so bored and full of anger all they can do is endlessly wave their flaccid puds at each other.
In my view all that purposeless anger is better expressed among the like-minded- Liberals and Conservatives should go to sites they trust and get information and conversation with their own kind.
And with the politics purged, we can return to what we signed on as an asylum- full of peaceful nerds fussing with our wires and glowing bottles only trying to escape the shit storm we call Bush Legacy America.
Just knowing Water Cooler and Outside are here is enough- once you spot a serious car wreck- no matter how far off- you're hypnotised and can't turn away.
As someone who has posted on this site since 1999, my vote is to eliminate Water Cooler and Outside and make Central the catch-all for all off-topic stuff- except that politics in any form is absolutely forbidden.
Finally, I apologise if my poor second language English has offended anyone here, I'm never sure of the degree of effect of terms like "fucking wanker moron" as I normally use the terms my Hungarian girlfriend taught me in the late '70's.
