I was a bit more than surprised when I delivered a Vibraplane to Bill Gaw (a reviewer for ETM) and he had built an 8" solid slab of concrete outside his listening room for his turntable (A Walker). He or I didn't think the Vibraplane would be of much help given this scenerio BUT we were both shocked at the difference it made. So whatever you do you should try and isolate, using a good solid stand, your table even if located outside the listening room.
