I have a Mark III platter, which sits higher than the Jr. platter-the tile brings it up enough so that the drive belt rides right in the center. Been playing records for several hours now, and it seems completely stable so far.
I've read several of your posts on HW-19 upgrades-good stuff, and i'm definitely going to try them out.
