visit to Jerry's Records

We have just returned from visiting family in Pittsburgh where I had the very good fortune of twice excusing myself to spend five thoroughly satisfying hours at Jerry's. Armed with an abbreviated most-wanted list (full well knowing my brain would turn to sh-t when confronted with +1,000,000 records) I bounced from corner to corner in what I have consistently found to be the record store that remains head and shoulders above the rest. Aside from his massive and diverse inventory, Jerry and staff have always been genuinely nice, knowledgeable and eager to assist.

I was disappointed that I couldn’t find the third Til Tuesday album. Jerry and staff instigated a search, and even called an employee on his day off, until they located two copies in the ‘T thru Z’ section of back stock Alternative Rock that had been relocated across the store and secreted below the racks or another genre.
