It's plenty heavy (improves the sound) and I would like to try something lighter in the 3-4 ounce range.

Current weight is a small brass Mapleshade cone blue tacked to a Thorens 45 adapter.

If you have one (45 adapter) you just need to center symetrical weights on it to experiment.

Aside from bearing wear, too much weight screws up the sprung suspension (and the sound, IMO).
