Cartridge hum...hmm

I re-wired my Empire 98 tonearm (298 turntable) and I have the tonearm base grounded to my preamp. With my Denon DL-110 cartridge installed no hum at all. With my DL-103R I'm picking up a some hum. With the DL-103R mounted on my Grace arm/TD-124 turntable- no hum issues. The 98 arm has flying tonearm wire leads, 4 of them. The Grace has the typical 5 pin connector with ground wire set-up. Sooo...? Any help is appreciated solving my hum issue.
