Pete Riggle here, manufacturer of the CCM. When I have run into this problem I have added headshell weight. A person can go to all kinds of lengths to do this. Alternatively, one can take a U.S. dime, which weights 1.27 grams, and stick it to the top of the headshell with a dab of Tac, either the blue version or the white version. For those who don't know Tac, it is a sticky putty material available in many stores. Hardware store is a good place to start. Sometimes we believe we need a solution with good appearance. What could be more perfect than a liberty head dime, or even my favorite president, FDR. Maybe you would prefer JFK. If a dime isn't enough, there is always the U.S. penny, which weighs in at about 3 grams, with the universally favorite president, Lincoln. Or maybe an indian head penny. Maybe better yet, a gold dollar; that would be class!
