3.5gm tungsten RIVER2SEA WORM WEIGHT SINKERS could be an excellent replacement for any bias weight. They will be smaller than the original, as the metal is 1,8 times heavier than lead, for the same size. However, the finish is matte, which may, or may not please.
I am wondering about adding a bias to an arm (actually two arms) that does not have one. I was going to add an SME bias guide, and use one of these wieghts. Is there any reason, apart from the precise graduations on the SME bias rod, for not tying the bias line directly onto the arm near to the rear weight? I want a very small amount of bias.
