makes me not want to buy a Chinese made product. Especially if there is a competitive product made stateside or in a country that does not use slave labor. VPI comes to mind for the former. Perhaps, the VPI Classic instead? I'm not in the market for either one (I have a LP12.), but I'd be interested in reading a review comparing the two tts.
Actually, I was not really conscious of how many Chinese made products I own. In fact quite a lot. And it is almost impossible to buy an electronic product without some Chinese made content.
And you are right, spinning vinyl, is a hobby and $2800 tt is a "luxury item." So, thanks for shedding the light on the effect of buying a Chinese made product versus spending the money on a domestically made one or taking the kids to Disneyland is appreciated.
