Grado Cartridge Overhang

I recently installed a Grado Reference platinum to a Linn Basik Plus tonearm. Can someone please tell me how much overhang the cartridge should have? I have the cartridge body situated in the middle of the headshell. I do not know if this is to far foward or not enough foward. The body of the cartridge can not go too far back beacuse of the cartridge wires.Is cartridge overhang very critical with this cartridge? Thanks!
