I note that as you improved your azimuth measurements, you can see that the crosstalk phase shift for both channels come closer to one another. What I find interesting is that your bad looking crosstalk sine wave is when the azimuth is not optimum. In my case I see flattening of the crosstalk sine wave on one channel only when I get closer to the measured "correct" azimuth. It's also interesting to note that Feickert's example shows crosstalk phase converging at 90 degress as seen on the link you provided.
I will try using this phase convergence idea and check my results to see how they compare to using the crosstalk voltage.
On another topic I am wondering if an FFT of both channels playing back sine signals at different points on a LP could be used to optimize anti-skate?
