You should clean this area up too and add fresh oil. I didn't get a leak here. See page 14 of the owners manual for proper set-up. At first I took out the brown washer to achieve the 1/64" but after realigning everything from the motor pulley, to the belt, to the stepped pulley and idler assembly my TD124 is as shown in the manual. I'm using the one white washer and only one of the brown ones. If you don't like to tinker a bit this TT can be a hand-full for some.
