I find the Denon to be far better than average musically for its price, and adequate sonically (particularly when retipped with a good line-contact stylus), whereas I've found the OC9ml/II thin, dry, sterile, harmonically bleached, dynamically compressed and over-hyped in every system in which I've heard them.
