Unfortunately, you need to spend a little more money. You need a phono preamp between the turntable and your amp. The phono preamp provides gain as well as RIAA equalization. You can also use an existing preamp or receiver that has phono inputs.Its probably easier to buy a new cartridge rather than try to find a stylus for the existing one. There's plenty of choices on the net.
