I'd say by your measurements it's obvious mass isn't an issue with your arm and that you're very satisfied with the sound. I read that Grace 714 and 840 arms sound very good with the 103 and the 714 is not a heavy arm. My test indicate a 7hz res. freq. with my Empire/103 combo. I haven't found any data on the effective mass of my arm but with using a compliance of 10 for the 103 the Empires effective mass is in the heavy range. Comparing the 103 on a Rega arm and the Empire is no comparison. The cartridge sounds light in in the bottom end with a flat midrange on the Rega. I didn't bother testing it for obvious reasons. You'll find owners out there loading up the mass on the Rega (light arm). I'm sticking with a heavy arm.
