Not really. That is: not if your objective is to burn-in the tonearm internal wiring + the tonearm cable + the phono stage/preamp.

And speaking of burning in the phonostage/preamp: make sure you use a CD that incorporates the RIAA emphasis in order to properly 'exercise' the phono preamp's RIAA equalization circuits.
