RE: What you are looking at....

Greetings- Thanks for the encouragement, I am going to try to remove the remainder of the broken azimuth bolt, but not until I have a replacment Arm socket and bolt in hand. I can almost see how the seller might have overlooked the cueing mechanism dropping too fast, but I see no excuse for selling me an arm with a broken azimuth bolt. I guess in the future, before I buy an arm that I'm not familiar with, I will have to study the mechanical drawing of that arm (Thank you VinylEngine). After waiting nearly a month for a replacement dashpot to arrive, I got impatient and bought a NOS SME 309, which I'm very happy with. The 3009 will be going on a soon to be purchased backup table, probably an older Thorens (125,150,or 160 super). Thanks again, regards, wpod
