About five months ago I had my mk1 Illustrious upgraded to a mk3,set arm and cart up and everything was fine for about a week.Then it started sticking,but no distortion.The sticking was on diff tracks/lps and sometimes did'nt stick at all.

Spent hours with the vta etc and quite frankly getting totally pissed off.Had no trouble with the mk1.

However the mk1 had a plug in phono lead,on the new arm I decided to go for a continuous lead.As a ast resort,I decided to take the arm off and re-address the phono leads to as square to the rear of the table as possible and hey presto everything is fine now,has'nt stuck since.May be worth a try?
