The headshell and tonearm are a single integrated unit on my SME IV.Vi. Do you have one of the "d" series (e.g., Vd) that I seem to have read that they may have a removeable headshell?

I guess I could buy one of those KAB azimuth check devices since I don't have a mono switch in my system (and could therefore use the HFNRR test LP to check azimuth). Not sure what I'd do if its off however, since all I could do is put shims under one side of the cartridge.
