He sells nice and cheap little 3 gram weights that are black, work great and look nice.I was going to suggest it was a compliance, arm issue.. it just sounded like you had good setup tools in the first post and it was something more fundamental.
I would try 3 grams, then six.. if you feel it might sound best in beween, Blu Tak is a good solution. If your head shell is detachable and the mount is pretty standard, you could look into getting a heavier, after market shell, e.g. the Sumiko one offered at most of the mail order places.
If you add a bunch of weight, just keep an eye on where the counterweight winds up.. some arms don't track as well with the weight pushed all the way back to the rear.
Keep us posted. i bet this does the trick and you won't have to lay out for the $$ on a new cartridge!
