I'm not being sarcastic or cynical -- I totally agree with you!
My heyday was the '70s and it seemed that great music was everywhere. I wondered if it seems that way to everyone in their own era - then I had a discussion with one of my nephews (age 16) and although he likes current music, he "loves" Hendrix and early '70s music. I recently had a discussion with a guy early 20's age and when I mentioned I was into Hendrix and classic rock he smiled and nodded his head and told me how much he also enjoys it. It seems that young adults that are into music really appreciate late '60s early to mid '70s music.
