1. Play SQ Quadradiscs whenever possible (now and then?) for the first 50-100 hours. Their grooves not only deflect the cantilever and suspension left/right, up/down, they TWIST the cantilever CW and CCW!!2. It's a good idea (IMO) to break in (especially MC) cartridges at roughly 0.2 to 0.25 gms ABOVE their upper VTF range. It won't harm the cartridge, and it insures that the suspension is "limbered up" slightly beyond the VTF range you might run it at.
