I'm repairing an Ittok tonearm that was disassembled improperly. Due to some bad advice, the Stylus Pressure Dial was pried off and in the process the click ring & spring came with it.In order to reassemble/repair it, I need to seperate the Stylus Pressure Dial, from the Click Ring, but it's not coming apart even after heating (which worked for other glued joins on the arm).
Anyone know what kind of glue are these attached with and is there a solvent or some other method which would allow me get these 2 parts apart?
The arm is also getting re-wired due to some broken internal wires, (which is why it was taken apart in the first place).
Does anyone know if the tonearm wires are supposed to be routed through the ground ring on the main body of the arm, before heading down into the main post?
