According to Rick Hashimoto, the plant manager. I have exchanged emails with him on the subject.FWIW, I never clean new LP's other than to remove any dust and I have never been able to tell the difference between those I cleaned on my VPI 16.5 and those I have not. I am speaking of NEW LP's only of course.
