Jim,Here are the equations that define every pivoted tonearm:
Le^2 = Lm^2 + N1*N2
and
Sin(theta) = (N1+N2)/(2*Le)
As you can see from the above there are actually four variables, consider N1&N2 to be one variable.
So it depends on what data you already have. Note that Loefgren "A" and "B" have the same linear offset but different null points. Which means you have to solve both equations not just one or the other.
