I've done the Michell option,Gyrodec,upgrade kit,now full blown Orbe SE NC.(OL Illustrious,Argo)Yesterday I puchased a Whest PS20 phono stage,which came with a relatively expensive power supply cable,so I'm in the running in stage with phono stage and cable.
Sounds great to me,but is arguably a little bright(although I like clarity,so real no problem)However may have a fiddle with vta etc.when phono and cable have settled down/run in.We'll see,so far only two hours on the stage/cable.
Not really advice,but I'm very happy with what I have.
