I have one in my closet that I bought new back in the day. I went the cheap route when I bought it and got the plastic plinth. (What was I thinking?) I've always thought that it might be a fun project to build a nice plinth for it, put a decent cartridge on it and see what it would sound like.

A completed item search on ebay shows the highest recent price at $306.
