Jim, I am running a 2.5v output cart through my Seduction with no problems reaching high volumes with great sonics. TT is MMF-7, cart is Benz Micro Glider H2. The Glider is over your budget but the point I want to make is a 2.5v output cart should not be a problem. Mayber there is another issue or the Eroica just doesn't cut it.
