I get up to Boise once or twice a year, and I always try hit the Record Exchange. It is downtown, and little to the west. You can find it in the phone book.
They have a great selection of used and new vinyl, as well as tons of used CD's. Funky but fun place. Live music every once in a while and a small soda fountain with a small retail store or woerd stuff! Very knowledgable people work there.
I always come home with something.
