I used to believe as you do, then I did the comparison just as one does a CD to vinyl comparison. Its probable that your system does not yet have the attributes necessary such that you can discern the difference. Be objective, go to a dealer you trust and ask him or her to compare interconnects on their reference system. You'll be suprised, that is, unless YOU aren't biased that they can't possibly make a difference.
