Just curious about how long my new Audio Technica a120e will take to sound its best, I just got it mounted yesterday. I have it mounted on my vintage DD table right now, but when my Thorend TS165 is ready it will get mounted on it. Compared to th old Pickering 395e cart that was on the Fisher table previously, its liek a nigth and day differance, there is far less surface noise and much more detail, the only edge the Pickering cart has is in bass and dynamics right now but im hoping the A120e will improve after a few records? The Pickering cart really had a great rythmic and driving quality to the bass which the AT 120e is lacking at the moment. Anyone have a similar expereince.
