Ok this may be a stupid question, but im new to vinyl so please forgive me. I bouyght a lot of records from ebay and just received them the other day. They were in pretty good shape except most were pretty dirty. My question is about the ones that look to be clean, I played them and some sound very noisy with lots of clicks and pops. Now does this mean that they are still dirty and the dirt is in the grooves and i just cant see it? Will a good cleaning with a RCM make them play quiet again? i know its hard for you to answer without seeing the records, but I really just want to know that even if a record looks clean and plays noisy if thier is still hope for them.
thanks
